Aging Water Infrastructure in U.S.

Funding needs to repair and update the US water infrastructure (water and wastewater) are estimated to be in the ball park of $600 billion over the next 20 years.  The economic downturn coupled with reduced Federal funding has made meeting the demand very difficult.  The EPA estimates the funding gap to be $500 billion.  However, there may be other means of providing significant funds through Private Activity Bonds if the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Investment Act of 2011 is…
